We traveled about halfway up the coast of Oregon yesterday. The first thing we did is stop and pick blueberries, reliving one of H's childhood memories-not sure where in Brooklyn those blueberries were but he was happy yesterday
As you can see by our jackets, the weather is pretty cold here in July on the OR coast. The wind is blowing and temps in the 50s.
This is Hartley by a funky tree root at a State Park near Coos bay on the Coast.
We are now sipping our coffee at the Hampton Inn in Eugene, Oregon. Will be picking up our daughter and granddaughter this afternoon and meeting other kids later tonite. The reunion starts tomorrow in Grants Pass Oregon. There will be 20 adults and 2 little ones.
Let the party begin!

Maybe H was remembering reading "Blueberries for Sal". That's what I would have been thinking about if I were picking blueberries in Oregon. And then I would have been on the lookout for bears!

Looks like you guys are having a great trip! Have fun at the reunion.
