Tomorrow I leave for the Colorado Relay, a 170 mile 24+ hour running race over the mountains of Colorado. I was the "driver 2nd string runner" and by golly the coach, Dread Pirate has already called me in for the team. That means simply that I run 18 miles, split up in 3 parts, in the morning, evening and again in the next early AM. I have my headlamp and warm clothes. Now all that's left is the running..with 10 of my soon to be closest friends, as we will be sharing 2 stinky vans together for 24 + hours. I, for one do not stink when I sweat but these other Outlaws, well I will let you know..
I guess there is already some question about my anal retentive habit of needing a white noise maker to sleep. Is this weird? Not in my book. I am sure we will get to know each other's annoying rituals when we are :
1. tired 2. trying to sleep 3. sweaty 4. under the gun to do well for the team 5. in altitude..
Will post the results. Should be sooooo much fun!!

i hear ya about needing white noise to sleep...i have a fan or humidifier on every night for white noise. however, i also fall asleep immediately in any plane, train or automobile moving so i'd be ok on the roadtrip! haha.
